Two new recipients of the Parker Skiba Memorial Endowed Presidential Scholarship have been awarded to Akshat Shah and Henry Quillin at the University of Texas at Austin Computer Science Program. This brings the total to 26 scholarships from this program since its inception in early 2018. These two exceptional students will inevitably leave a remarkable dent in the universe and mark on the world in their lives and make the world a better place. Below is some information on them. Akshat Shah
Akshat is a junior studying Computer Science and minoring in Entrepreneurship at UT Austin. He is actively involved in Texas Convergent, an entrepreneurial, product-building student organization where he has worked with Austin-based startups and other students to build ideas and pitch prototypes across multiple industries. Outside of his academic and entrepreneurial experiences, Akshat enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, playing ping pong, and traveling. He is passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems and aims to continue building impactful products in the tech and entrepreneurial space.
Henry Quillin
Henry is a Junior in the Computer Science and Business Honors Program (CSB) at UT in Austin. He is interested in all things tech & entrepreneurship, and is currently working on a startup for music production. Henry loves the outdoors, lifting, and music.
