Two new recipients of the Parker Skiba Memorial Endowed Presidential Scholarship have been awarded to Aryan Gandhi and Arushi Harkawat at the University of Texas at Austin Computer Science Program. This brings the total to 21 scholarships from this program since its inception. These two exceptional students will inevitably leave a mark on the world in their lives. Aryan Gandhi
Aryan Gandhi is originally from the Chicago area and now a senior at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a double major. He is a senior in the Computer Science and Business Honors Program and has done internship work at Google, Amazon, Lyft, Cisco and Lyft. He plans on pursuing an MBA in finance and then founding his own company.
Arushi Harkawat
Arushi was born in Udaipur, India and grew up in Austin, Texas. She attends the University of Texas at Austin Computer Science program as a prestigious Turning Scholar. Arushi has a passionate interest in operating systems and low-level programming and has worked at Google in her summer internship programs. She will graduate next year with her bachelor’s degree but may migrate to the 5-year BS/MS program at the Computer Science program.
