In 2018 the Parker Skiba Memorial Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Computer Science made awards to 4 exceptional students at the University of Texas at Austin for the 2018/2019 academic year.
Once again, for the 2019/2020 academic year, the Scholarship program will, through the University of Texas at Austin, award 4 computer science students scholarships with entrepreneurial ambitions awards.
Entrepreneurship is creative and forward thinking. Entrepreneurs don’t accept the status quo; they disrupt and permanently alter industries. They contribute to society by leading the way and by finding innovative solutions to practical, financial and social issues. When entrepreneurs start successful businesses, they create jobs that contribute to widespread prosperity directly and indirectly.
