Two new recipients of the Parker Skiba Memorial Endowed Presidential Scholarship have been awarded to Namrata Jithendra and Arushi Lakhi at the University of Texas at Austin Computer Science Program. This brings the total to 28 scholarships from this program since its inception in early 2018. These two exceptional students will inevitably contribute greatly to society, make their mark on the world and make the world a better place. Below is some information on future entrepreneurs. Namrata Jithendra – is a junior at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Business. Last summer, she worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Wells Fargo. She has always loved creating things and approaching problems from the user’s perspective, which drives her passion for product and innovation. On campus, is actively involved as the Internal Director of Texas Product Catalyst, a student organization focused on product management, and as a Tech Peer Career Coach supporting fellow students in their career journeys. In the future, she aspires to become an entrepreneur and use my skills to create opportunities and solutions for underserved communities.


Aarushi Lakhi is a Computer Science major at The University of Texas at Austin, also pursuing a certificate in Design Strategies and minor in Entrepreneurship. She is passionate about the intersection of human-centered design and technology, with a focus on building accessible,
impactful software. This passion is reflected in her work as a founding engineer at FrontRow, an ed-tech startup addressing accessibility challenges for low-vision students. As the Projects Director for the Texas Product and Engineering rganization, she leads student teams to build
custom software for local non-profits. Aarushi is also the founder of ABC Jewelers, a non-profit that has donated over $30,000 to fund medical care and sight-restoring surgeries. She aims to build a career creating technology that empowers communities, with long-term aspirations in
social entrepreneurship.
